1) If you believe that all students should be Web literate, what is the best strategy for your school to prepare you with this skill? Explain.
The best strategy for our school to prepare us with this skill is to start computer related classes, such as Digital Arts or Graphic arts. These can help familiarize a student with a computer and its functions. Computer Science can also help, too. There should also be more classes like College Research Skills as well because it helps us create blogs and wikispaces as well as getting used to them.
2) What skills should all teachers have to be Web literate? Explain.
All teachers have to be well updated on the present functions of the Internet. They should know helpful and educational sites as well as how to use newly developed search engines. If the teachers know how to use the websites, that could help the students. The teachers might be able to know more about the Internet than the students.
3) What role should school filtering play in your school district? Explain why schools should block or not block Web sites.
 School filtering should play the role of protecting students from distractions. While a class concerning the Internet is good, students can use this to their advantage and go on websites to take them away from class time. There are distracting websites such as YouTube or Facebook that students will take the opportunity to use during class. I don't mean to go against my fellow classmates, but the school should at least block those websites at those certain times but not search engines like Google.

4) Do you believe the Internet is as big a transformer of culture as the printing press? Explain.
Yes, I believe the Internet is as big in transforming culture as the printing press. Like the printing press, the Internet is a large advancement that is used and will be used for a long time. It lessens the work of researching subjects and brings you right where you would like to be. The Internet has changed the world being as it is being used very often.
5) If yes, what parts of our culture do you believe will be most affected? Explain.
The society of our culture would be most changed because there is social media. People can talk to each other from different parts of the world and look up their idols, although there are some downsides like cyber bullying and cyber squatting. The knowledge of our culture could be altered, as well. Some will rely too much on the Internet to find answers instead of books.
